API Portal Development |
During my tenure at
Green Dot Corporation, I worked closely with the
company's development team and third-party vendors
to transition over 500 pages of technical API
documentation and hundreds of pages of release notes
from PDF delivery to an online portal. Once the
portal platform was in place, content-development
activities included:
Reorganizing and rewriting the existing content to
improve readability and usability.
Adding new ongoing API documentation and release
notes for every release thereafter.
Today, the
Green Dot Portal provides existing and future partners easy
access to the APIs required to do business with
Green Dot.

Corporate Sites
As the Director of
Communications for NCR's
eCommerce Solutions organization, I was
responsible for populating all
information products across a plethora of ongoing
internal and external websites. Examples follow.
|
eCommerce
Intranet Site
This site
supported all internal NCR audiences involved with eCommerce. This included
system programmers, sales personnel, management, legal office, etc.
|
|
eCommerce
Customer Site
This
was a public website that specifically advertized NCR eCommerce Solutions to all interested parties. In addition, a
portion of the site was dedicated specifically to paying NCR customers.
|
|
eCommerce
Sales Kit
Maintained this site to
keep sales associates up-to-date on various marketing and contractual issues.
|
|
eCommerce
Delivery Kit
Maintained this site to
keep operations personnel abreast of what is required to deliver new
products and services to customers.

eMarketing Campaigns |
Following
are a few examples of eMarketing campaigns and
associated surveys I've designed and deployed to
thousands of NCR employees.

|
Multi-Language
Banking Survey Campaign
Purpose:
Solicit input regarding the necessity of
providing eCommerce solutions in multiple
languages.
Target Audience:
Institutions using NCR's Internet Banking
and Bank By Phone solutions.
Result: The
survey produced the proper feedback needed to
determine which languages to pursue for future
releases of the two solutions. |
|
Features Survey Campaign
Purpose:
Solicit input regarding what Customer Banking
and Business Banking features to implement in
future releases of the software.
Target Audience:
Hundreds of eCommerce User Group members who
represented their institutions.
Result: Using
this method resulted in a 70% response rate.
Due to these automated analytics, it was easy to disseminate which features and functions to development
for future releases. |
|
Field Engineering Certification Campaign
Purpose:
Encourage 5K NCR Field
Engineering associates to complete required
POS Certification exams online.
Result:
100% participation! |
|
Apparel Campaign
Purpose: Determine
shirt preferences (style, size, color, etc.)
for trade shows and other professional events.
Target Audience:
Approximately 15,000 employees.
Result:
Due to this campaign, the company could
order a precise number of shirts resulting in
significant cost savings. Employees were
happier, too, as they received exactly
what they wanted. |

Apparel Survey
This is the
survey I designed to accompany the Apparel
Campaign discussed above. |
